Adèle Rouzé set up her own vineyard in 2003. She works with her brother, an oenologist, who, like Adèle, is also a wine grower.
The domaine currently comprises 12 hectares of Sauvignon vines grown in sand and gravel soil resting on a clay subsoil.
The vines are worked following a sustainable approach to viticulture, respecting the environment and preserving fauna and flora.
The domaine is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants de France viticultural association.
From working the vine all the way to marketing it, the wine grower guarantees its authenticity at every stage as well as the quality of her work.
Adèle is particular focused on getting Quincy wines to be known on French tables as well as abroad. You will find her wine in Europe, in the USA and in Asia.
Our Quincy wine is grown for our clients’ delight, to ensure they can share special moments of friendship and harmony.
Quincy is the 1st vineyard of the Centre-Loire region of Fance to have obtained the famous appellation d’origine contrôlée, in 1936.
The Sauvignon grape-variety reigns supreme here and this is where it finds its fullest expression.
Grape picking is done by machine harvesting. Particular care is taken to the sorting and pressing of the grapes in order to preserve the berries’ full flavour and integrity.
Vinification is carried out in thermoregulated stainless steel vats and wines are aged on fine lees until they are bottled.
Exclusively white, a Quincy wine reveals its freshness and intensity through tonic aromatic grapefruit and white blossom notes.
The domaine Adèle Rouzé produces around 80 000 bottles of Quincy white every year. These are sold to individual customers, retailers, restaurants and also to export markets.
